Grow little garden, grow!

Though we’ve a rather large issue with squirrels and birds digging about in our flower beds, we still try to plant some flowers each spring and summer. Several weeks ago I found Zach digging up the weeds and old roots of our dead garden from last summer, so I decided we should plant the new ones then as well. Surprisingly, we’ve already got quite a bit of growth  in all our flowerbeds on the deck. We’ve even got a few dianthus flowers!

Hopefully the critters will spare us a bit this year and we’ll have a bigger flower garden than last year.
